COUNSELORS CORNER

Ten Tasks of a Healthy, Happy, Active Life:

  1. Take time for yourself - 30 minutes at least, daily.

  2. Family commitment - schedule family time.

  3. Communication - talk issues out.

  4. Eat sensibly - 3 meals a day, 2 snacks.

  5. Exercise - 3 to 4 times weekly for 20 to 30 minutes.

  6. Get enough sleep - 8 hours a night.

  7. Laughter - humor keeps things in perspective.

  8. Friendship - keep friends close.

  9. Control stress - meditation and exercise.

  10. "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff" - book by Richard Carlson, PhD.
